HOLIDAY TRAVEL SAFETY
PREPARE YOUR HOME WHILE AWAY
When you are traveling for the holidays, burglars could target your home. Having an alarm system installed can help keep burglars out and in the unfortunate event someone tries to break in, the alarm will alert the authorities.
HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED BEFORE A ROAD TRIP
Take your car in to get serviced before you leave for your holiday travels. You do not want to be stuck on the side of the road during the holiday season. Packing an emergency kit with jumper cables, a car jack, and spare tire will be incredibly handy in the unfortunate case your car breaks down.
CARRY A CHARGER WITH YOUR MOBILE PHONE
This may sound like a no-brainer but sometimes we forget the small things. Having a charger for your cell phone will come in handy in case you get lost or if you need to call for help.
WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY
When traveling, germs are everywhere especially in planes, trains, and buses. Make sure to frequently wash or sanitize your hands to avoid getting sick or carrying the germs to someone else.
LEAVE IMPORTANT COPIES OF DOCUMENTS WITH SOMEONE
Before you leave for your trip, make sure someone close to you has copies of all of your important documents such as passports and ID cards. You never know when you might need them to send over the copies in a rush while away on vacation.
